Crewsaders Strengthens National Leadership Team with Six Senior Crew Manager Promotions
Crewsaders, the UK's premium event crewing company, is proud to announce the appointment of six new Regional Crew Managers as part of a major strategic investment in operational leadership, client service excellence, and long-term business growth.
The promotions mark an exciting new chapter for Crewsaders as the company continues to expand its national presence and strengthen its commitment to delivering industry-leading service standards across every project, venue, and event.
Who's Been Promoted?
Each individual has progressed through the business from senior crew chief positions, bringing with them over a decade of hands-on industry experience. The newly appointed Regional Crew Managers are:
- London: John Robertson and Clint Coppard
- Birmingham: Chris Bryan and Stu Chapman
- Manchester: Josh Salkie and Liam Garside
Their promotions recognise not only their exceptional leadership and operational expertise, but also the vital role they have played in building Crewsaders' reputation for professionalism, reliability, and outstanding client service throughout the UK events industry.

Through my experiences on site with Clint, I have always found him to be a great leader of a team, but more importantly a genuinely friendly and approachable person. He has an excellent work ethic and is a good communicator. He sets high standards, leads by example, and inspires others to follow those standards as well.
It's always a great comfort when I see Clint's name on the schedule, and he's always the first person I ask for if I'm given the pick of the team! I know that a job will always go smoothly when Clint is onsite. He has the right approach with clients, long serving crew, and new starters alike. I couldn't recommend anyone more for this role than Clint!
Clint is by far one of the nicest, calmest, controlled crew members we have had the pleasure of working with at Crewsaders. With Clint you know that everything will be handled quickly and to the very best of their abilities, sometimes in very difficult surroundings and spaces. Massive congratulations to Clint for this well-deserved promotion. I look forward to seeing him again very soon.
John Robertson

Josh is incredibly diligent, hardworking and, above all, really lovely. Please do pass on my congratulations to him on his promotion. It's well deserved, he's a real asset to the team.
That's a great appointment. My thoughts below from the recent 'Your Song' tour: Josh was a constant presence across my tour, bringing calm, consistency and leadership to every site. He adapted seamlessly to each local crew, getting the best out of the teams and ensuring delivery was always to the highest standard.
It's always a pleasure seeing Josh when he is onsite and you know things will always go smoothly. We wish him every success in this new role.
Liam Garside
That's great news! Knowing Liam is going to be onsite with you is a total comfort blanket. He is a really hard worker and a great crew leader, plus a really nice guy to spend time with.
To me, Liam embodies everything Crewsaders stands for and why they remain my first choice crewing company. A true grafter who leads from the front, always on time, first on the truck and willing to get stuck in. A true legend in the industry, respected by crew and clients alike. I wish him all the best in his new role. Very much deserved.
I've had the pleasure of working with Liam for many years. He's always been thoughtful, careful thinking and precise with his work, guiding his teams of Crewsaders through tight scheduling and always delivering beyond expectations. A true gentleman and always a pleasure to work with. Congratulations on your promotion Liam.
Stu Chapman
Stu is such a hard worker. Any time he's onsite and you need something done, he just does it. He takes the problem out of your hands and deals with it, sometimes even before you know about it. Always a pleasure having Stu on my events and look forward to more events together.
Stu has always been one of those crew chiefs that thinks one step ahead of you and sees what needs doing before you point it out. He's a calm, cool head in a crisis and is always the last one onsite to see the doors close. I've worked with him for almost 20 years now and not once has he or his team let me down.
Stu is a very trusted pair of hands. Having known him for over 20 years and working with him when I was a freelance tech right up to my role as Technical Director, Stu is very much part of the team when on site. I have full faith in him to manage his team on site, and even when things are working against us, he will always rally the troops to get the job done. On any event, once I have briefed him with the plan, things just happen. He works well with all the other contractors on site and doesn't lose sight of the bigger picture.
